The nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards were announced today, July 14, and it’s a cool mix of fan-favorite dramas and fresh newcomers shaking things up.
The Apple TV+ original series, Severance, is leading the way with 27 total nominations. Other top contenders include the HBO Original limited series, The Penguin with 24 nominations, and HBO’s The White Lotus with 23 nominations.
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on September 14, 2025. The ceremony will be held at the Peacock Theater in L.A. and will be hosted by comedian, Nate Bargatze.
