This scenic ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains is an outdoor paradise for food & animal lovers.
The idyllic 29 Oaks Ranch is known for pairing delicious farm-style food and quality time with adorable farm animals. When it comes to creating irresistible experiences you didn’t know you needed, there is simply nothing that matches it. How did we ever live without delicious mimosa brunches in the company of cheeky goats?
Once you’ve had a taste of the 29 Oaks life, there’s no doubt that you’ll be coming back for more. Luckily, they offer a number of pastoral pastimes that will give you the perfect excuse to spend more time away from the city.
You might start with a meet and greet with the cute newborn kids at the Wine & Cheese with Goofy Goats. Once you’ve cuddled and fed them you’ll dust off the hay and head to the gorgeous garden. Inhale the fresh evening air while you enjoy a wine tasting and sampling of goat-friendly snacks.
If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you can head out for a guided horse-riding trail through the canyons followed by a bottle of wine and a spectacular orange sunset as a backdrop.
There’s a little something for the animal-loving mystics too. Your session will begin by petting herds of goats and horses before settling in for a boozy tarot reading in a teepee.
But, you haven’t really experience 29 Oaks unless you’ve tried the highly popular Bubbly Mimosa Brunch with Baby Goats. It all starts with a chilled mimosa in the lush garden before heading to the pen where cheeky goats will jump, nibble and cuddle you. That’s followed by a rich spread of cheese-centered offerings like quiche, jalapeno stuffed poppers, and sweet potato fries with goat cheese aioli creme. Yum! Of course, the mimosas will keep flowing for the entire 2-hour experience.
For those that prefer something with the distilled flavor notes of wooden caskets, you might like a soothing evening whiskey tasting experience where you’ll listen to horses whinnying and night birds calling with the fresh spring scents filling the air as you’re walked through fine sips.
While we aren’t able to visit London for high tea right now, you can let your tastebuds travel across the pond with scrumptious tea time with the beloved goats. It features quality playtime with the animals followed by a beautiful spread of finger sandwiches, macarons, and scones. Yum!
