Last night was a whirlwind of winners and wonders at the 67th Grammys. Trevor Noah hosted the Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, Feb. 2, and it was a doozy. There were surprise Grammy winners, and there were some shocking fashion moments. (If you know, you know. If you don’t, be forewarned before you check it out here.)
If you weren’t able to catch the ceremony live last night, there’s no need to fret. We’ve compiled a roundup of the most notable and memorable moments from the night for you to enjoy.
Major Grammy Wins of the Night
1. Kendrick Lamar wins big and celebrates L.A. in his speech.
It’s Kendrick’s world, and we’re just living in it. L.A.’s perpetual hometown favorite, Kendrick Lamar, won 5 Grammy awards, including “Not Like Us” winning Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. And even cooler, he dedicated his awards to “the city” in his acceptance speech. We were already incredibly excited for Kendrick’s much anticipated Super Bowl halftime show with SZA next Sunday, but somehow all of L.A. just got a even more hype. (We can’t wait for his Grand National Tour this summer!)
2. Beyoncé won Album Of The Year and Best Country Album.
Beyoncé is the most decorated artist in the history of the Grammys, but last night she won an even bigger honor for the very first time. Beyoncé won Album of the Year and Best Country Album at the 67th Grammy Awards for her album, Cowboy Carter.
3. Chappell Roan won Best New Artist.
Chappell Roan, who many consider their new mother, won Best New Artist and performed her pop-hit sensation, “Pink Pony Club” on an actual gigantic pink pony.
4. Doechii won Best Rap Album.
Doechii won for her first Grammy Award, and it was a doozy. She’s only the third woman to win Best Rap Album for her album, Alligator Bites Never Heal. To secure her queen status even further, she celebrated by dropping a new song today! Check it out here.
5. Shakira won Best Latin Pop Album.
Shakira celebrated her birthday while winning big at the Grammys once again. She won the Best Latin Pop Album award for her album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. This is her 4th Grammy Award. She also performed versions of her fan-favorite songs, “Ojos Así” and “Bzrp Music Sessions.”
6. Alicia Keys received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.
Alicia Keys dedicated her Global Impact Award to “all the ladies that know the magic that they bring to the room.” And while giving her acceptance speech, she delivered a powerful call to action that diversity “is not a threat, it’s a gift — and the more voices, the more powerful the sound.”
Lots of love for L.A.
There were so many moments that were full of love for Los Angeles last night! Plus, the 2025 Grammys were focused on “raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”
7. Red Carpet Love for L.A.’s First Responders and LAFD
Cheers erupted and many gave a standing ovation when Los Angeles First Responders and the Los Angeles Fire Department walked the Grammys red carpet.
Plus, members of the Los Angeles Fire Department presented the award for Album of the Year at the Grammys.
8. Randy Newman’s iconic song “I Love L.A.” opened the Grammys
An all-star cast of artists led by folk-rock band Dawes performed “I Love L.A.” by Randy Newman along with John Legend, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, Brittany Howard, and St. Vincent.
9. The Red Hot Chili Peppers sang about their love of L.A.
While giving out the award for Best Pop Vocal Album to Sabrina Carpenter for “Short n’ Sweet,” the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis and Chad Smith led the awards crowd in a brief singalong of their hit “Under the Bridge” which talks about the City of Angels. And Kiedis reminded the crowd to “support their friends and neighbors as they rebuild their lives.”
10. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars dreamed of California
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars sang a passionate rendition of “California Dreamin’” the classic song by The Mamas & The Papas.
