Angelina Jolie just closed a major real estate chapter in L.A.
According to Hola! USA, the actress officially sold her historic Cecil B. DeMille estate for $24.75 million on September 24, 2026. She originally listed the property in May for $29.85 million.
The final transaction lands just $250,000 above the $24.5 million she paid in 2017 following her separation from Brad Pitt.
Inside the secluded compound

Located in the exclusive, gated enclave of Laughlin Park in Los Feliz, the property spans a generous 2.1 acres. The main residence features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
It also boasts luxury amenities like a wine cellar, a private gym, and a classic library. Outside, the lush grounds house a swimming pool, a dedicated tea house, and a separate guesthouse.
Mature trees and rolling lawns give the compound the secluded feel of a massive private retreat.
A century of cinematic history
Architect B. Cooper Corbett designed the residence back in 1913. Legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille bought it in 1916 for a mere $27,893. He lived there until he died in 1959.
DeMille famously hosted prominent Hollywood figures and family weddings in the property’s vibrant rose gardens.
He even filmed a scene for his 1927 movie ‘The King of Kings’ right in the estate’s olive grove.
