How many World Series have the LA Dodgers won?
The 2024 season marks the eighth time the LA Dodgers have won the World Series, the second championship in the last 4 years. In 2020, due to COVID, all MLB teams played a shortened version of the season with fewer games, and the Dodgers won that championship against the Tampa Bay Rays. That season, all playoff games were played on a neutral field.
Where did the Dodgers win the 2020 World Series?
Due to COVID-19, the entire series was played at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home of the Texas Rangers. The ballpark’s seating capacity was limited to 25 percent of capacity (11,500 fans). As a result of the pandemic, the regular season was shortened to 60 games and the postseason was played at neutral sites instead of the teams’ home ballparks.
How to Watch the Dodgers Parade and Stadium Event on TV
The parade and Dodger Stadium celebration will be broadcast live on Spectrum SportsNet LA. Local stations including CBS 2, NBC 4, KTLA 5, and ABC 7 will broadcast the event too. Coverage starts at 9:30 a.m. PT for viewers who want to follow the entire celebration from home.
For many Dodgers fans, this parade is a long-awaited chance to celebrate together after the COVID restrictions canceled the 2020 parade. Fans and players alike are eager to honor this season’s unforgettable achievements, making this an event Los Angeles won’t soon forget.
