This city has basically been living in a horror film takeover this year, and this show in The Montalbán Theatre is the cherry on top. A Nightmare on Strip Street is what happens when that obsession gets a live stage, a powerful soundtrack, and an outlandish sense of humor.

What to expect at A Nightmare on Strip Street
Picture every horror villain that lived rent-free in your childhood nightmares; except they’re wearing sequins and working a fully choreographed pole dance number.
This isn’t a themed bar crawl. It’s not a Halloween pop-up with a fog machine and a playlist. It’s a full 90-minute stage production with live performers and powerful energy that’s earned five-star reviews everywhere it’s touched down before L.A.
Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, the Bride of Chucky, Pinhead — the whole lineup of slasher icons gets a full theatrical glow-up. There’s dance. There’s sketch comedy. There’s a kind of electric, “everyone’s in on the joke together” energy that doesn’t really translate until you’re sitting in the room feeling it.
A Nightmare on Strip Street reviews
💬Robert W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: “This show was so fun! The dancers and costumes were amazing and there was a lot of silly energy in the audience. Everyone had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone that loves horror and awesome dancing. It was a fun mash-up!”
💬Charlie S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: “AMAZING! You will not be disappointed if you go see this show. We had a great time. All around 10/10 performance.”
💬Julia M. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: “Truly fantastic and so much fun! Hilarious MC, extremely talented performers, excellent music selection. I had an absolute blast!”
Between the theaters and the streaming charts, this city can’t get enough horror right now. This is the version that doesn’t end when the credits roll. The only real question left: is there a seat with your name on it before this sells out?
