A taste of Bikini Bottom is headed to the City of Angels!
A SpongeBob SquarePants-themed Popsicle truck will soon hit the streets of Los Angeles. On Saturday, December 13, Popsicle is treating fans to a real-life treasure hunt that will lead them to free treats and photo opportunities.
Beginning December 9, Popsicle will share clues on its Instagram and TikTok how fans can find the SpongeBob Popsicle Ice Pop truck. Anyone who pieces the clues together and locates the truck on December 13 will enjoy free SpongeBob Ice Pops and photo opportunities.
What is the truck for?
The pop-up event is in anticipation of the upcoming film, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, which premieres December 19 in theaters. Fans who stop by the truck will also have the chance to win VIP (Very Important Pirate) tickets to an exclusive yellow carpet screening of The SpongeBob Movie with themed merch and SpongeBob-inspired treats.
What if I can’t locate it?
If you can’t make it out to the truck, you can still enter an online sweepstakes to win some very special merch or a private screening of the film. The merch includes an exclusive SpongeBob Popsicle-themed Treasure Trove popcorn bucket.
