With films like The Royal Tenenbaums, Asteroid City, and The Isle of Dogs, Wes Anderson has gained a reputation for his distinct style. When asked about this style, Anderson said:
“I have a way of filming things and staging them and designing sets. There were times when I thought I should change my approach, but in fact, this is what I like to do. It’s sort of like my handwriting as a movie director. And somewhere along the way, I think I’ve made the decision: I’m going to write in my own handwriting.”
Wes Anderson’s quirky aesthetics have sparked things like the Wes Anderson trend on social media and the @accidentallywesanderson Instagram account.
‘Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition’ actually comes from that Instagram account, which boasts nearly two million followers.
‘Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition’ uses travel photography in the filmmaker’s style to create a gallery like none other. There are a whopping 200+ images spread throughout seven themed rooms to discover.
