Take A Hilarious Trip Back To The 90s Watching “Friday” Under The Stars

Bye Felica, we’re going to the movies! 👋

Join the Food & Film festival for another pop-up movie night at the Los Angeles State Historic Park on Thursday, August 23rd! Enjoy hand-picked gourmet food trucks, live music, and drinks from the beer garden helping to create an epic experience. Gates open at 6 pm so be sure to arrive early to take advantage of the festivities and to save yourself a spot with a view. The movie will begin around 8:45 pm as the sun sets and the stars rise for the occasion.

The timeless movie Friday featuring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker will have you laughing just as hard as it did during it’s release back in the 90s. After Craig Jones (Cube) gets fired from his job, he and his best friend Smokey (Tucker) find themselves in a rather sticky situation! After getting high off his own supply, Smokey finds receives a death threat from his supplier demanding that he either give him the $200 “profit” or return the product… or else. Watch two friends struggle to come up with the money in this hilarious throwback on a 50ft screen surrounded by good vibes, great food, and a view of the city!

Tickets go for $14 a pop and can be purchased here!

Location: 1245 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012. See it on Google maps.
