LA’s favorite celestial nightwalk is coming to a close – but not without a spectacular starry finale. Disney is bringing the wonder of their latest animated release, Wish, to Astra Lumina’s closing weekend (March 8-9) for two days of light, music, and wish-granting magic in the form of a Wish Well. The pop-up event celebrates the Blu-ray and Digital release of Disney’s Wish. Guests will be given the chance to win themed prizes and pre-order the film on Blu-ray – which will feature a sing-along movie version, never-before-seen bonus features, and deleted scenes.
The highlight of this heartwarming event will be the gorgeous Wish Well in the courtyard. Visitors are invited to throw their wishes in the well in a nod to the movie’s ode to the power of wishes and dreams.
In the animated musical-comedy, Asha, a sharp-witted idealist living in the kingdom of Rosas, makes a powerful wish that’s answered by Star, a ball of boundless energy. Soon, Asha and Star must stand against the ruler of Rosas, a formidable foe, to save her community and prove that it just takes one person to connect to the magic of the stars, to make wondrous things happen.
