Ava DuVernay’s ARRAY returns with ARRAY 360, a six-week cinema series that examines storytelling across generations and borders. Founded by DuVernay as a nonprofit arts and social impact collective, ARRAY curates year-round, free programs at its Los Angeles campus, spotlighting work that challenges, inspires, and amplifies underrepresented voices.
This year’s ARRAY 360 lineup features films that grapple with migration, identity, resistance, and collective liberation, including titles by Nia DaCosta, Kahlil Joseph, Gregory Nava, Annemarie Jacir, Ben Proudfoot, and Shih-Ching Tsou, accompanied by conversations with the filmmakers themselves.
A showcase of women-directed films from around the world will also be featured, along with a “Black Panther” triple header with films from Ryan Coogler, Stanley Nelson, and Agnès Varda. This year’s program explores migration, resistance, gender, identity, and collective liberation through the lens of films such as:
- Nia DaCosta’s Hedda (2025)
- Shih-Ching Tsou’s Left-Handed Girl (2025)
- Annemarie Jacir’s Palestine 36 (2025)
- Gregory Nava’s Why Do Fools Fall in Love? (1998)
- Jennie Livingston’s Paris Is Burning (1991)
- Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther (2018)
- An advance look at Kahlil Joseph’s BLKNWS: Terms and Conditions (2025)
