Azay is a Japanese fusion restaurant that can be found in L.A.’s Little Tokyo. The restaurant is owned by locals Philip Hirose and his parents Jo Ann and Akira. This Sunday, they’re teaming up with local artists Miko & Michael to throw an evening full of delicious food and iconic music.
The special prix fixe menu will include:
- Terrine of Tomato Confit & Avocado with basil, Yellow Bell Pepper With Couli Sauce.
- Vegetable Ragout With Crispy Kataifu
- Anmitsu
Miko & Michael have performed all around California and even in Tohoku, Japan. Their act is full of various types of music, including jazz, popular, and movie soundtracks. The evening’s set will include songs from Etta James and the Carpenters to Lizzo and even music from your favorite Studio Ghibli movies.
The seatings for dinner are $50. If you’d like to join them for just the music, you’re welcome to come on by for a suggested donation of $5.
