Barnsdall Art Park‘s popular wine tasting series returns this June for a 16th season. Barnsdall Art Park Foundation’s Friday Night Wine Tastings is “like finding the hidden, beating heart of Los Angeles.” And due to the sold-out success from last year, this year’s event has been extended into September.
When you sip at Barnsdall Art Park, you’re supporting the arts! All the proceeds from this annual fundraising series support programming within the Park. It’s especially important this year as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House is in danger of closing due to new L.A. City Council budget cuts. So this year’s event will provide essential funding to help sustain Barnsdall Art Park.
Friday Night Wine Tastings take place on Olive Hill and the West Lawn of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House which is the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Los Angeles. There’s nothing classier than sipping wine on a balmy summer Friday night in front of a UNESCO World Heritage site!

And while you’re at Barnsdall Art Park, discover a series of compelling exhibitions at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery (LAMAG) and Barnsdall Junior Arts Center Gallery. Kicking off in June, Friday Night Arts at LAMAG brings an exciting mix of artist-led talks and interactive installations, launching with an immersive experience by renowned multimedia artist, Bill Barminski. The COLA 2025 exhibition, an annual showcase of new works by Los Angeles-based artists, will run throughout July and August.

Wine tasting tickets cost $45. There are other tier options that include a tour of Hollyhock House which start at $80. Plus, designated driver tickets are available too. You can purchase tickets here.
Other things to keep in mind:
- Guests are encouraged to bring blankets for added comfort. However, no lawn furniture is allowed inside the event.
- Parking at the event is very limited, so rideshare and public transportation are highly encouraged.
- This is a 21+ event – no kids or babies are allowed.
- No outside alcohol is allowed into the event.
- No wine is allowed outside of the private event area.
- No dogs or any pets are allowed inside the wine tasting event.
- Please note that restrooms will be available at Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery.
