Fall is a great time of year to visit Bishop, thanks to its impressive blend of autumn colors and outdoor activities against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada.
The aspen groves explode into vibrant warm hues throughout the Bishop Creek Canyon, which you can reach via State Route 168. The canyon has several large lakes that make for a dramatic contrast with the golden foliage.
