LA County Parks presents a month-long series of free community events, cultural programming, and family-friendly activities at 59 parks across Los Angeles County from February 5–28, 2026. Programming includes live music, art workshops, storytelling, wellness sessions, and food tastings celebrating Black history and culture.
Allensworth Black History Month Festival

Celebrate the achievements and contributions made by African Americans at the Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park, sharing the story of Allensworth with others to educate and inspire future generations. Candlelight Concerts are continuing to blow audiences away at several breathtaking venues across L.A. If you haven’t already been to one of Candlelight’s intimate evenings, then you’re in for a real treat. This month they are highlighting Neo-Soul, 90s Hip-Hop, Childish Gambino, and Prince—all in the charming glow of candlelight.
OC Black History Parade & Unity Festival

The Orange County Black History Parade and Unity Festival is a celebration of African American culture and achievements. It serves as a platform to highlight the contributions of individuals who have made a significant impact in their respective fields.
The 46th Annual OC Black History Parade & Community Festival is happening Saturday, February 7, 2026, and everyone is invited. Enjoy a full day of celebration, culture, and community.
The Parade steps off at 10 AM, followed by the Festival from 12 noon–4 PM with live entertainment, a health resource fair, retail vendors, information booths, a youth village with games, and Food Fest 26 featuring 30+ food vendors. Get more info here!

10th Annual L.A. Black History Month Festival

Open Arms Food Pantry and Resource Center have teamed up once again for their 10th Annual Black History Month Festival. Their programming includes special guest speakers, live music, an African marketplace, and discussions on topics including health, mental health, and issues related to the African American community.
