The holidays have arrived in Los Angeles and these seasonal pop-ups will be serving up festive cheer all winter long. Holiday and Christmas bars in Los Angeles capture the joy of the season, plus lots of tasty cocktails with nostalgic flavors in their most creative forms. Don your most festive attire and round up your friends for a delicious winter drink after a day of ice skating or gift shopping.
1. Frostyโs
Frosty’s is one of the most over-the-top Christmas bars in Los Angeles with tinsel and festive decor covering every square inch of the Hollywood space. After opening in Chicago in 2017, and then debuting a new NYC location in 2022, Frosty’s has officially added its third location in Hollywood for the 2023 holiday season. Tickets to Frosty’s start at $25, but you can choose different drink and cocktail packages priced up to $71.
Step into a glittering Christmas wonderland and take endless photos while sipping on cocktails from the “Naughty List.” We’re excited to try the Orange Holiday Fizz with vodka or gin, blood orange juice, and prosecco; as well as the Santa’s Mocha with peppermint vodka, Kahlua, creme de cacao, and cold brew.

2. Miracle
Miracle is a pop-up Christmas bar that takes over dozens of premier cocktail bars around the country every single winter. We’re lucky to enjoy three delightful locations in LA and even more in surrounding parts of Southern California.
The cocktail menu brings some favorites from years past, including the popular Christmas Cricket with Patron Blanco Tequila, Licor 43, Branca Menthe, pandan, coconut, and bitters. Recover from the bitterly cold LA winter with a steaming hot buttered rum or a mulled wine. Miracle’s specialty holiday glassware is also available for purchase if you want to take some cheer back home with you. At all 3 locations it’s worth making a reservation before you visit.

3. Santa’s Secret
It seems remissive to define this LA pop-up as simply a Christmas bar, because it’s effectively a walk-through Christmas experience complete with drinks and performances. Throughout the evening you’ll wander amongst eight immersive installations featuring gingerbread girls, lumberjacks, and living snow globes, before stumbling into Santa’s secret speakeasy. There you’ll indulge in specialty themed cocktails while watching a live variety show featuring great music, drag, ballet, and burlesque.

6. The Siren Who Stole Xmas
The tropical cocktail bar known as The Mermaid presents a creative take on your typical Christmas bar this year. “The Siren Who Stole Xmas” is a haunting, nautical cocktail pop-up where guests are invited to brave the high seas. Reclaim Christmas from the siren’s clutches in a world of ghoulish galleons and eerie krakens.
The Mermaid’s accompanying December cocktail menu centers the best tiki flavors with a festive twist, such as the Sinterclaus with rum, green chartreuse, passionfruit, orange, and lime.
