Mark your calendars — the iconic “Fiesta Broadway” returns to DTLA on Sunday, April 26, 2026, and it’s completely free. Now in its 33rd edition, this massive street festival has cemented its place as one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the United States. Thousands of Angelenos flood Broadway Street every year for a full day of live music, food, culture, Lucha Libre wrestling, and family fun.
What is Fiesta Broadway?
If you’ve never been, here’s the short version: thousands of people take over Broadway between 1st and 4th Street in DTLA every spring for what has become one of the most massive Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the entire country. It’s loud, it’s packed, it’s delicious, and it’s one of those days that reminds you why living in LA is so special.
Music lineup and more
This year’s lineup is headlined by Edwin Luna as “Gran Mariscal” and Banda Los Recoditos as Festival “Padrinos”, with performances from Mariana Ochoa, Carlos Baute, Grupo Morros, Rocío y Su Sonora, Ballet Folklórico Gary Ferrer, and more.
Apart from the music, what’s new this year? Multiple things make this year’s edition stand out. First, the Feria de la Mujer — a brand-new addition hosted by Lianna Grethel celebrating women in the community. Second, a FIFA “100 Days Until Kickoff” activation tying into the World Cup coming to LA this summer.
Also, while you eat, you can catch the adrenaline-pumping spectacle of live Lucha Libre wrestling right on the pavement!
