This lush piece of real estate has been taken over, and it’s coming back to life this summer.
Losing the much-loved gem Cliff’s Edge last October was pretty devasting, not because there’s any shortage of stunning patios in L.A., but there were few that could offer the same brand of bohemian treehouse vibes with incredible food and cocktails. Now, we finally have news that the Bacari team will breathe new life into the Silver Lake sanctuary this summer, according to Eater LA.
Tucked away in leafy surroundings just off the Sunset strip, the building with stained glass windows and a multi-tier outdoor patio could be described as a treehouse for adults. And in its run as Cliff’s Edge, it was a dining and drinking hotspot for a good 16 years before financial hurdles brought it to its knees. The property was listed on the market before the pandemic struck and the restaurant closed towards the end of 2020.
Bacari has multiple locations in neighborhoods like West Adams and Glendale, all known for pairing gorgeous rustic settings with wholesome, Mediterranean fare. You’ll find plates like Crab Crostini, Gorgonzola Pasta or a Roasted Market Tomato pizza on the menus, alongside a curated selection of wines and unusual craft beers. With all that in mind, the team might just be the prime candidates to revive one of the city’s favorite al fresco scenes.
No further details are known right now, but we’re more than ready to welcome Bacari Silver Lake to L.A.
