Hidden in plain sight with breathtaking views of the cosmos and the mountains surrounding the city, an adorable café sits perched a whopping 5,700 feet above the ground. Cosmic Café is the iconic dining spot at Mt. Wilson Observatory, and it’s now open for the season.
Through at least late November, visitors can stop by to enjoy dishes like Cosmic Chili, Greek Salad, the Old-Fashioned Turkey Wrap, refreshing drinks, iced coffee, and a variety of sweet treats. All of it comes with stunning panoramic views you won’t find anywhere else, on clear days, you can even see all the way to Catalina Island.
The Café offers a warm and refreshing stop for hikers, bikers, and anyone eager to explore the wonders of Mount Wilson Observatory, after a scenic drive through the Angeles National Forest.
