Descanso Gardens’ Luminous Enchanted Forest Of Light Is Making A Comeback This November

By Malia Wooten

This may be your only chance to stroll into a breathtakingly glimmering forest!

The one-mile-long trail of illuminated installations, Enchanted: Forest of Light, will be returning for its fourth year this November 17 through January 5, 2020. The beloved holiday tradition promises to deliver the same charming displays that we all know and love so visitors of all ages can live out their magical fantasies. Fan favorites Celestial Shadows, Lightwave Lake, and Aqueous are planning to make a major comeback, with plans to shine brighter than ever before.

Joining the festivities this year will be an installation by sculptor Tom Fruin – expect luminous stained glass lighting up Descanso’s cherished Mulberry pond! When you work yourself an appetite after walking down a path that changes colors with each step, dining options will be available in the garden’s courtyard.

Tickets to a special preview party on November 16 are on sale now! Descanso Gardens members can purchase tickets for the Nov. 17 – Jan. 5 shows before the general public beginning October 1 at 10 am; everyone else can snag theirs starting Tuesday, October 15 – expect prices to range anywhere from $28 to 30, depending on the date and time that you choose! Children under 2 are free, but still, require a ticket. Keep in mind of ‘Members Only’ nights which take place on ‪Dec. 20‬, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28.
