Disneyland will welcome back guests back with limited capacity on April 30, officials say
After a whole year of closure, fans will get to experience the magic once again from April 30. Disneyland Resort and California Adventure Park will be reopening almost all the attractions, the Grand Californian Hotel with limited capacity as well as bringing back beloved Disney friends, according to an announcement. Experiences that draw large crowds, like parades and nighttime spectaculars, will return at later date.

“The day all of us have long been waiting for is almost here,” said Disneyland Resort president Ken Potrock. “We’re excited to have more than 10,000 cast members returning to work as we get ready to welcome our guests back to this happy place.”
Popular attractions like “New magic” at the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain will be available at Disneyland. At California Adventure The Little Mermaid and Toy Story Midway Mania can be enjoyed just as fans have always done. Of course, there will be some modifications and additional safety measures in place.
Guests will finally get to experience the revived Snow White’s Enchanted Wish. However, the highly-anticipated (and severely delayed) Avengers Campus will not be opening just yet.
In order to comply with the state’s Covid measures and allow for social distancing, a new reservation system will be introduced. Guests will need to make a reservation for the park in advance to avoid crowds and only California residents will be allowed to enter. Meanwhile, the sold-out “Touch of Disney” food experience will go ahead as planned between March 18 through April 19.
Further details regarding attractions, health & safety measures and booking system are expected to be released soon.
