The Happiest Place on Earth is getting ready for the most joyous season of the year. There are so many incredible new rides, stores, restaurants, and events at Disneyland just in time for the holiday season. Disneyland’s Holiday Season is back and better than ever, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening up just in time for holiday visitors. Get ready to celebrate the holiday season Cajun-style!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
The brand new musical, water-based attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened today, Nov. 15, 2024. It’s based on the Disney film “The Princess and the Frog” featuring Princess Tiana. This new ride is the latest chapter in the princess and entrepreneur’s story at Disneyland Park.
On Tiana’s Bayou Adventure guests board a log flume to join Tiana and her alligator friend, Louis on a fun adventure through the bayou in search of a band for her Mardi Gras soiree. Plus, in the newly renamed Bayou Country, guests can visit Tiana’s Palace quick-service restaurant and three themed retail shops.
New Shops and Eateries in December
Downtown Disney District will see 3 brand new shops opening at the beginning of December.
- Avengers Reserve: an all-new Super Hero shopping destination for all ages with collectibles, comic books, apparel, and more will open Dec. 6
- D-Lander Shop: featuring new collections celebrating trend-forward fashions and co-branded collections. It’s also opening on Dec. 6.
- Disney Wonderful World of Sweets: will feature new confectionery treats – including Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn. It’s opening this winter.
Plus, the Parkside Market food hall will open this winter. And this includes Vista Parkside Market, the second story bar with great views of the district, signature craft cocktails and mocktails.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort also begins today, Nov. 15, and continues through Jan. 6, 2025. This jolly holiday season brings festive entertainment and family fun across the resort. Plus, Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure Park which features flavorful food and a variety of cool live performances.
