There’s something magical about watching a baseball movie inside one of the world’s most iconic ballparks. This August, Dodger Stadium is inviting fans to do exactly that during a special Movie Night featuring the beloved 1993 family classic The Sandlot.
For one night only, guests can spread out on the outfield grass and enjoy the coming-of-age baseball favorite on the massive DodgerVision videoboards. Before the movie begins, attendees will have the chance to explore the stadium with exclusive activities that aren’t typically available during a regular game.
What to expect at Dodger Stadium Movie Night
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., giving guests two hours to enjoy a variety of pre-show experiences before the movie starts at 7:00 p.m.
Visitors can look forward to:
- Behind-the-scenes tours of Dodger Stadium
- Pitching opportunities in the bullpens
- Special photo opportunities throughout the ballpark
- Specialty movie-night concessions
- Family-friendly activities before the screening
Guests with General Admission tickets will have access to festival-style seating on the outfield grass, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the field reaches capacity, additional seating will be available in select Field Level sections.
Blankets are encouraged for a comfortable viewing experience. Stadium seats without legs are permitted, but lawn chairs, legged chairs, inflatable seating, and oversized cushions are prohibited.
How to get tickets
Tickets are available through the Dodgers’ Movie Night event page. Children ages 3 and under may attend free, while all guests 4 years and older require a ticket.
Tickets will be delivered digitally through the MLB Ballpark app, and attendees are encouraged to download or forward their tickets before arriving at the stadium.
