It’s time for Dodgers baseball! The team is back and their full schedule is out for the season.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were originally expected to open the season right at home in March against the Colorado Rockies, but the MLB postponed the series due to a lockout. Major League Baseball and the Players Association were struggling to come to an agreement, however, negotiations have since settled—and now the baseball season is back on!
Opening Day was officially April 7, and the Dodgers began their season on the road against the Rockies on April 8. Don’t worry, Angelenos will get a chance to see their boys in blue soon enough. The first home game was on April 14 against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Dodgers also played the following night at home on April 15, and attendees were given a Jackie Robinson jersey in honor of his birthday, followed by some Friday Night Fireworks! This entire season is jam-packed with celebrations and giveaways.
