DRAG: The Musical is bringing a divafantaculous musical voyage of love, hate, glamour and glitz to the iconic Bourbon Room this summer. All-star queens Alaska Thunderf*ck, Jackie Cox, Jan Sport and Broadwayʼs Nick Adams are shaking up a cocktail of belly-aching laughter and heartbreak with a powerful message stirred in. And if the production wasn’t already brimming with celebrity talent, music legend Joey McIntyre and celebrated drag icon Jujubee have just been announced as the newest cast members.
This fantabulous spectacle tells the tale of two rival drag clubs on the brink of collapse as they wade through financial woes (in heels, of course). Will they destroy each other’s lives or come together to survive?
Ravishing queens will be getting up in Geish for a flawless face-off. What follows is a kaleidoscopic celebration of the LGBTQ+ community guided by the Emmy-nominated director Spencer Liff. Think of it as a modern-day Romeo and Juliet with the electrifying campness of Rocky Horror and the musical charm of La Cage Aux Folles.
Guests can expect an hour and forty minutes of the fiercest performances with original songs created by certified platinum producer-songwriter Tomas Costanza and celebrity song stylist Ashley Gordon. While the queens serve face, the incredible staff members will be serving up creative comfort food by Chef Frankie and mouthwatering drinks from the bar.
The shows will take place every Friday and Saturday through October 15, 2022. Doors open at 6 p.m and the shows start at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. You are encouraged to come early and stay late.
