If you’re as excited as we are for the release of Dune: Part Three this December 18th, you’re likely hunting for every clue and insider detail to tide you over until the premiere. Luckily, Los Angeles is in for an exclusive treat in the form of Dune: The Experience, an immersive, multisensory celebration of the cinematic world of Denis Villeneuve and Legendary Entertainment’s Dune film franchise, based on the novels by Frank Herbert.
Opening November 20th, 2026, the experience is transforming a massive 31,500-square-foot space (330 S Alameda St, Los Angeles, CA 90013) in the DTLA Arts District into a literal desert world. We’ve secured some insider intel, and while we don’t want to spoil every secret waiting inside, here’s a glimpse of what’s in store so we can all get excited together.

An interactive journey through the Imperium
The experience is completely immersive. It transports you straight to the sands of Arrakis and challenges you to some of the very things faced by your favorite characters on the big screen. The world submerges you into the Dune universe, letting you explore the entire trilogy visually, auditorily, and narratively. Beyond the interactive moments, it also serves as a museum-quality exhibition, chock full of fascinating, genuine artifacts from the films.
Your path from DTLA to Arrakis kicks off in a cinematic screening room with a personal welcome from Villeneuve himself before hurtling you directly into the lore.
Things get tense quickly as you enter a stark Bene Gesserit chamber to recite the Litany Against Fear and face the ultimate test of will and self-control as you plunge your hand inside a dark box at the mercy of the Gom Jabbar. From there, you’ll uncover the history of Arrakis etched into the walls, decode a hidden message, and follow a trail of floating glowglobes through a winding Labyrinth.

Screen-used prop archives & next-level photo ops
Beyond the interactive trials, the artistry on display is off the charts. The Arrakian Vault houses an extensive collection of authentic screen-used props, weapons, and incredible costumes worn by the cast. You’ll also get to ponder how you’d rule the universe as you take a seat on Paul Atreides’ monumental throne for an iconic photo op.
The finale opens up into a breathtaking desert where sound, atmospheric effects, and monumental scale converge. You’ll stumble upon the screen-used Cicada Ornithopter and hear the sound of a Fremen Thumper as a colossal sandworm rises from the sand—complete with Maker Hooks ready for action.
The journey concludes in the Sietch Commons, where themed food and drinks worthy of the Emperor himself will be available for a well-deserved chance to unwind.

Dune: The Experience is a unique and exclusive opportunity to immerse yourself in the Dune universe like never before. Fans of the trilogy, cinephiles and lovers of unusual LA experiences will not want to miss it. It’s opening on November 20th at 330 S Alameda St, Los Angeles CA 90013, and tickets are available now but selling out quickly so be sure to get yours today.
