Plaza México is bringing family fun and cultural celebration to Southern California with its vibrant “Festival Día del Niño” (Children’s Day Festival) this April. This special event is all about honoring children and creating lasting memories for families in the community.
When and Where
Taking place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, this festive gathering highlights a beloved tradition celebrated across Mexico and Latin America – Día del Niño. It’s a day dedicated to uplifting children’s well-being and recognizing their importance in society.

The festival will feature lively performances by Huntington Park’s own “Tatis La Super Payasita,” a Jalisco native with over 25 years of experience entertaining children. She’ll be joined by her Power Clowns crew, bringing face painting, magic shows, balloon art, raffles, and even a red carpet photo opportunity.
Kids can also explore the Kid’s Zone, which includes arts and crafts, piñatas, music, and special treats. Music throughout the day will be provided by DJ Johnny, keeping the energy high with family-friendly beats.
In addition to entertainment, guests can visit community resource booths and enjoy appearances from surprise guests.
