The inaugural Los Angeles Jazz Festival is set to sweep across the city from August 7–23, 2026, with 17 days of free and ticketed concerts, beach parties, club nights, and community events.
It all builds toward a blockbuster “Jazz on the Beach” finale at Dockweiler Beach and a vibrant Caribbean Street Carnival in Venice, giving Angelenos and visitors plenty of ways to join the celebration.

Jazz on the Beach
During the weekend of August 22–23, the LA Jazz Festival’s Jazz on the Beach finale will pack Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey.
Saturday’s lineup headlines Janelle Monáe and Charlie Wilson, and Sunday’s features John Legend and Raphael Saadiq alongside a long list of additional acts, with general admission passes starting around $71.43.
Caribbean Street Carnival
A free Caribbean Street Carnival will come to Venice on Friday, August 21, featuring four stages dedicated to Cuban Jazz, New Orleans Jazz, Latin Jazz, and Afrobeats. Check it out from 4-10pm
More LA Jazz Festival events
In addition to its major final weekend events, the LA Jazz Festival will present several weeks of 175+ free shows. Look for “Jazz in the Park,” a series of free concerts at L.A. region parks between August 8-16, and “Jazz After Dark,” exciting late-night events popping up at neighborhood spots around L.A between August 19-23.
The festival will also host a Jazz Youth Camp bringing together 2,000 local students, as well as a State of Jazz Conference for industry professionals.
