Suns out, challah out!
Feel like you’ve taken a trip to Isreal’s seaside cityside of Jaffa at a new westside restaurant which just so happens to share the same name!
The newly popular Israeli restaurant Jaffa has received so much success within the past year of opening that chef/owner Anne Conness is opening a second location in the Westside neighborhood of Palms. Sporting everything from lamb bacon BLTs for lunch and spaghetti with Moroccan saffron butter for dinner, your tastebuds will trick you into thinking that you’ve gone on a mini vacation this summer. All you’ll need is a cocktail in hand and hello holiday! The stunning centerpiece bar serves up just about anything that you would consider coastal and fresh such as selected aged rums, fresh citrus, and fig preserves.
The ambiance truly seals the deal – sporting broken marble floors, lush green plants, twinkling lights, vibrantly blue water glasses, and 100-year-old doors throughout the patio, you can practically imagine the seaside of Jaffa right at your fingertips. Instead of splurging on a ticket to the east, visit Los Angeles’ closest thing to it! It’s probably worth noting that during its short residence in L.A., the restaurant’s flagship location was awarded as a Michelin Bib Gourmand selection.
Jaffa offers lunch from 11 am to 3 pm and dinner from 5 to 10 pm during the week and brunch (with bottomless mimosas and punch bowls) from 10 am to 3 pm during the weekend.
Location: 10306 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90034. See it on google maps.
