Roll to your favorite 90s jams at Westfield Century City on April 24th & 25th.
The 90s fever isn’t going anywhere and an upcoming series from Freeform Cruel Summer is a throwback thriller from the era that touches on topics still relevant today. To promote the series, a rad 90s-inspired roller rink will be popping up at Westfield Century City atrium on April 24 and 25.
The psychological thriller is riddled with mystery and unexpected twists while serving up the magical nostalgia we crave. So there really is no better way to ring in this new show than rolling around a checkered rink with DJ Daisy O’Dell (on Saturday) and DJs Sky Sky and Memmi (on Sunday) spinning 90s tunes.
While there is a fun element to all of this, the mystery series aims to convey the long-term effects of kidnapping by depicting one day from three consecutive years (1993, 1994 and 1995). Audiences will be taken around in circles questioning every character’s involvement in the disappearance of the popular teen Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt). It premieres on Freeform on April 20 or on Hulu the next day.
You can book a free 20-minute session between 12pm and 6pm on Saturday and 11am and 6pm on Sunday through this promotional website here. Each session is for two people and walk-ins will be accepted to if there is room.
