Tucked into the heart of Long Beach’s Retro Row, Good Luck Vinyl Club is a monthly gathering where music lovers come together to celebrate the art of vinyl.
Hosted at The Social List, the club offers an intimate, high-fidelity listening experience centered around full-album spins, from classic hip-hop and soul to haunting trip-hop and dancefloor rarities. With curated cocktails, themed decor, and a passionate community, it’s more than a listening party. It’s a ritual for those who cherish analog sound and shared musical moments.
🎶Noche de “Cumbia Y Vino”
This Sunday, July 13, Good Luck Vinyl Club is hosting a “Cumbia Y Vino” night. The event is co-hosted and curated by Valeria Denise Metz, a local film photographer and creative with a focus on Latinidad. Attendees can look forward to rare and never-before-heard Cumbia Sonidera pumping through the Hi-Fi sound system all afternoon long.
Plus, the event will also feature vinyl-DJ sets by Turbo Sonidero, a music producer and record collector from San Jose, CA. Turbo Sonidero is also the founder of Kumbia Net and the co-founder of Grupo Jejeje.
As if all that wasn’t exciting enough, Good Luck Vinyl Club will also have an exclusive record pop-up and DJ set by Innovation Records. They’ll be spinning nothing but Cumbia, Sonidera, Tropical, Norteño, Ranchera, Salsa, Baladas y más. And it’s all on wax!

🍷¿Qué más?
Special Cumbia-inspired t-shirts will be available from custom airbrush artist, GTM Airbrush. And of course, no night would be complete without good wine! While they spin, you can sip on the latest release from Sala Coffee and Wine called Chula. It’s a bright, spiced Ramona Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted by Southern California’s own Herrmann York Wine. This wine is best served chilled, so it’s the perfect thing for sipping on a warm summer night.
A portion of the night’s proceeds will go to the Long Beach Liberation Fund for immigrant families affected by the ICE raids.
