You don’t need to travel 6,000 miles to get a taste of the raucous Greek carnival energy. Instead, you can head to Theía on West 3rd where you can experience all the Apokries party spirit right from your seat. This colorful holiday season usually consists of a three-week parade, featuring elaborate costumes, a lot of incredible food and libations. But Theía will be packing that into 4 days of revelry from March 3rd to the 6th.
The one-of-a-kind eatery is already known for its Mykonos-style party atmosphere. On any given night, mezze platters and interactive cocktails are delivered by flare-wielding waitresses, with a side of thumping dance music. So in honor the legendary Apokries celebrations, they’ll be taking things up a notch. There’ll be a special Carnival-inpired menu, a DJ, belly dancers, drummers and sparklers. Plus, guests will be given masks and beads to get into full celebration mode.
“As a Greek inspired restaurant, Apokries is a natural celebration for our guests to indulge in foods they love while partying and enjoying great company and beautiful surroundings. It only made sense for us to bring a little bit of Greek Carnival to the Pacific”, Theía restaurant owner Max Simon said in a press release.
You’ll feel like you’re one of the gods as you indulge in delicious Greek cuisine like an Apokries Skewer Appetizer while sipping on a Greek Carnival Cocktail with a parade of performers dancing amongst you and fellow diners.
