The Habit Burger near Dodger Stadium just got a major league refresh.
The Echo Park location is reopening to the public on Thursday with a familiar look. According to a press release, the new restaurant features “bold blue lighting, refreshed Dodger-blue upholstery, new outdoor signage, vintage Dodgers-inspired photography, and a striking neon installation.”
Dubbed Habit X Dodgers Home Base, the Habit Burger is celebrating the launch with an Opening Day celebration. On March 26, from 11 am to 2 pm, L.A. street artist Ali Gonzalez will put the final touches on his Dodgers mural on the side of the building while the space opens to the public with live DJs. Fans are encouraged to dress in Dodger blue.
“I want the community to feel an instant sense of pride and excitement the moment they arrive, like they’ve stepped into a true Dodgers home base while enjoying a great burger,” Gonzalez said in a statement. “I hope it creates a moment where people stop, take it in, snap a photo, and feel connected not just to the team, but to the community around it. Like it’s their spot.”
The first 100 guests to stop by will receive a complimentary Blue Wave Shake, a new menu item for the burger spot.
“If we’re going to celebrate this partnership, we’re going to do it properly,” said Jack Hinchliffe, Habit Burger‘s Chief Marketing Officer. “Two L.A. greats coming together deserves something spectacular, that’s why we decided to build something enduring: a place fans, with or without game tickets, can show up at and be part of. Fresh food, Dodgers energy, it’s a spot to make a proper day of it.”
The opening also coincides with Habit Burger and Grill’s official arrival inside Dodger Stadium.
