Catch this magical film concert under the stars!
Take an iconic venue, an exhilarating film from one of the world’s biggest fantasy film franchises playing a giant HD screen, and have a live symphony orchestra performing the incredible score. Now, add in an unbeatable L.A. sunset and you have a whole new level of sorcery happening. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince™ in Concert will be giving Angelenos and a chance to rewatch the entire film and relive the magic on September 17, at the Hollywood Bowl.
In this epic combination of music and cinema, you’ll get to watch Harry become a wiz at potions, discover his past and the meaning of Horcruxes in his sixth year at Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra will be playing Nicholas Hooper’s Grammy-nominated composition live while your favorite wand-wielding characters zoom across the stage in high-definition.
This popular, breathtaking event has already toured 48 countries around the world, with hordes of robed Potter-heads filling the grandest venues. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™ in Concert wowed local audiences at the Bowl back in 2019 and there’s no doubt that this will be another unforgettable experience.
CineConcerts are the producers of this unique live music movie series, which was co-founded by producer/conductor Justin Freer, who will also be the conductor on the night. There will also be other concerts in this series, including The Princess Bride in Concert and Marvel Studios’ Black Panther in Concert.
