Karol G fans can take a trip around the world without leaving Los Angeles this weekend.
In celebration of the Colombian superstar’s latest album, Tropicoqueta, an immersive “Viajando Por El Mundo” pop-up is coming to DTLA from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16.
The experience is inspired by Karol G’s song “Viajando Por El Mundo” and brings some of the destinations mentioned in its lyrics to life through interactive installations, photo opportunities, merchandise, and special perks.
The Los Angeles pop-up is timed to Karol G’s upcoming SoFi Stadium performance, making it a fun stop for fans looking to get into the Tropicoqueta spirit before the concert.
And L.A. isn’t the only stop. The “Viajando Por El Mundo” pop-up will also travel to Dallas, El Paso, Miami, and New York, with each activation timed around Karol G’s concerts in those cities.
What to expect at Karol G’s “Viajando Por El Mundo” pop-up
The experience transforms the lyrics of “Viajando Por El Mundo” into a series of travel-inspired stops.
Fans can explore installations based on destinations referenced in the song, including New York, Mexico, Las Vegas, Paris, and Pisa.
One stop brings a taste of New York to L.A. with a pizza-inspired experience. Another transports visitors to Mexico with 200 Copas by Casa Dragones, inspired by the song’s tequila-filled lyrics.
There’s also a Las Vegas-themed installation inspired by the line about getting married in Vegas, a romantic Paris setup featuring the Eiffel Tower, and an interactive photo moment inspired by Italy’s famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
And there’s a little souvenir waiting at each destination. As visitors make their way through the experience, they can collect custom stamps marking each stop they complete.
So if you’re heading to see La Bichota at SoFi Stadium, you can add a little international travel to your concert weekend with no passport required.
