What’s it gonna be? MUSTAAAAAARD!! Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy award-winning hip-hop producer, Mustard (whose real name is actually Dijon) is getting his very own Heinz mustard flavor. Heinz stated, “Two mustard legends, together at last.” After being named Heinz’s chief “mustard” officer in February, Mustard helped launch a limited-edition smoky-and-sweet Chipotle Honey Mustard flavor. The tasty, tangy new sauce is fittingly called Chipotle Honey MUSTAAAAAARD.
Music producer, Mustard, has been a key figure in hip-hop since the mid-2000s, creating hits with artists like YG, Ty Dolla Sign, Rihanna, and most famously with Kendrick Lamar. He’s often seen sporting a custom chain shaped like a diamond-encrusted Heinz Mustard bottle.
Mustard on the beat! Heinz MUSTAAAAAARD marks Kraft Heinz’s first new mustard flavor in nearly a decade. It is also the first time the brand has co-created a new sauce with a partner in the United States. Heinz announced that the partnership is “rooted in the shared faith of a mustard seed,” according to Food & Wine magazine.
This new mustard flavor is bound to be a hit. After all, everything music producer Mustard touches tends to turn to Grammy gold. If you want to try this new flavor for yourself, you can taste it at Buffalo Wild Wings locations nationwide through July 14, before it hits shelves at Walmart, Target, and Amazon later this year.
