Kendrick Lamar surprised fans last week with an unexpected release of his album “GNX” — and he’s keeping the momentum going by dropping the music video for “squabble up.” Packed with clever Easter eggs, the video offers plenty for fans to dissect — from nods to his L.A. hometown to callbacks to other Hip-Hop legends. You can watch the video below, then scroll on through for the Easter eggs we found!
Compton Christmas Parade
We’re not sure if he’s just shouting out the upcoming Christmas parade happening in his hometown — or if he’s hinting at something more — but it’s worth mentioning that the parade is going down on December 14, 2024.

Bonus: Mysterious “squabble up” message decoded…?
According to Redditor roccocobean, “Omnia est Aliquid is Latin for “everything is something.” I.e. everything in this video is a clue.” According to comments, the messages may reveal, “Decemebr 12” — a possible release date of a deluxe Kendrick album.
Another Redditor noted, “Also the gnx release date 11.22.24, 1+1, 2+4, 6+6 = 12. 12+12=24. Therefore 12.12.24 release date for deluxe.”
Now, we might be reading a little too much into the clues — but when it comes to the 105 freeway sign, if you add all the numbers together, you are left with 12 1/2, or 12.12 = December 12? None of this confirmed, but it’s fun to speculate.
