After a year of empty stages and streaming live concerts, Angelenos can finally look forward to enjoying live entertainment once again. While in-person performances have already begun in some capacity, but we can hardly wait for the summer season at the Hollywood Bowl. Now, we have another show to look forward to in September. The Danish electronic artist Kygo will be headlining a special concert on September 10 with tons of special guests.
A few weeks ago, the artist ushered in his new chapter of music by performing his single “Gone Are The Days” at the stunning, snow-capped Sunmore Alps, featuring James Gillespie. The track marks a turn towards emotive storytelling that echoes the reflective year we’ve had in isolation and envelops listeners in lingering waves of piano chords, soaring pads, and strings.
Kygo made the announcement on May 3 with a pot that read, “It feels unreal to announce a stadium show right now after a year of the world standing still! Beyond excited for this one.”
Venue: Banc of California Stadium, 3939 S. Figueroa St., 90037, Los Angeles
