While the 2024 U.S. Coffee Championships were held in Rancho Cucamonga, the 2024 reigning champ is from right here in L.A.!
Frank La of Be Bright Coffee is the 2024 U.S. Barista Champion. And as the winner of the U.S. Barista Championship, he went on to represent the U.S. and earn the title of champion and national ambassador in the World Barista Championship held in Busan, South Korea.
Fall Coffee Menu 2025
Be Bright just launched their fall drinks menu, and there are so many fresh fall flavors perfect for getting in the mood for autumn, even if it’s still a tad bit warm outside.
Here are their fresh fall flavors:
- Pumpkin Pie Latte – Pumpkin juice, fall spices, brown sugar, espresso, milk, pumpkin spice cold foam, crushed graham cracker
- The Happy Camper – Grade A dark robust maple syrup, vanilla, cappuccino, smoked sea salt
- Black Sesame Mocha – Rooted Fare Black Sesame Crunchy Butter, chocolate sauce, espresso, milk, black sesame cold foam
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew – cold brew, pumpkin spice cold foam
- It’s Giving Apple – cascara syrup, sparkling water, apple cider, cinnamon garnish
- Spiced Apple Espresso Cream Soda – apple spice syrup, espresso, tonic, cold foam, cinnamon garnish
The 2024 U.S. Barista Champion
Frank La has been involved in the professional coffee industry since 2010. He’s worked and trained at many notable coffee companies across Los Angeles. He earned a 6th-place spot in the U.S. Barista Championship in 2023. He kept honing his skills, and all that hard work paid off with his winning entry this year.
Frank is dedicated to the pursuit of perfection and often speaks about how he is guided by the Japanese philosophy of “Kodawari,” which is based on this particular pursuit. This philosophy was also the inspiration of the theme for his winning brew entry.
