Each fall, LA Design Weekend (LADW) transforms the city into a sprawling, participatory design showcase, turning studios, shops, installations, and neighborhoods into open doors for curious makers and enthusiasts alike. LADW’s motto is, “Rooted in community. Resilient by design.” And it reflects a commitment to amplifying Los Angeles’s creative voices, bridging heritage and emerging design, and inviting everyone to explore, connect, and experience the art of place in motion.

Taking place over four days from September 26–29, 2025, the event is rooted in community. The event features over 125 events happening over the weekend, such as low-cost or no-cost workshops, pop-ups, and happenings.
