Let that East Coast winter envy simmer down because one of our favorite seasonal pastimes is back at the largest ice skating rink in the city. The LA Kings Holiday Ice will return to L.A. Live from November 26 to January 8. Angelenos finally get the chance to put on hockey skates again and glide in merriment, as average temperatures still allow for the occasional beach day.
The rink is set up right in front of the Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as The Staples Center) and the LA Kings players and their cheerleaders are known to zoom past, adding that gameday energy to the seasonal affair. You’ll get to skate around a towering Christmas tree located right in the heart of the rink, with twinkling lights draped along the periphery while you take in light shows on huge LED screens.
In addition to that, the annual Supper & Skate at L.A. LIVE will be back, which means you can use your LA Kings Holiday Ice rink ticket and get a 10-15% discount at and other participating restaurants. Whether it’s sushi from Katsuya or prime steak and wine from Fleming’s, you’ll find something to fuel the festive action. It might even be the perfect excuse to indulge in a gorgeous deep dish from Platxi’s Pizza Platxi’s Pizza.
General tickets cost $20 for kids, $25 for adults and Fast Pass tickets are $45 each. However, if you happen to be an LA Kings Season Ticket Member you plus 4 guests (5 in total) can get in for $20 per person and Delta SkyMiles members receive $3.00 off tickets.
