While some Angelenos will be away for Coachella, others are looking forward to a whole different kind of festival. Book worms rejoice! The 2022 L.A. Times Festival Of Books is happening this weekend.
The festival takes place at the USC campus on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24. Book lovers can expect a weekend full of indoor and outdoor events, such as author and exhibitor booths, author signings, live music, and other fun free activities. This will be the 25th anniversary of the festival, which has drawn in 150,000 people every year.
There will also be guest speakers such as Josh Peck, Kal Penn, Danny Trejo, and so many more special guests.
L.A. Times puts on this festival in hopes “…to bring together the people who create books with the people who love to read them.” The ultimate goal is to bring the Los Angeles community together and connect with them through literature and art.
