“Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique…” There aren’t enough words to describe the singer, songwriter, musician, actress, dancer (and unofficial heir to the throne of pop royalty) that is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, or as the world came to know and love her: Lady Gaga.
The pop icon and living music legend is making her way back to California after turning heads with her massive Coachella appearance earlier this year, and after breaking audience records with her now-mythical “Gagacabana” show in Brazil. The Mayhem Ball Tour, arguably the most anticipated musical event of the year, is landing at the Kia Forum next weekend, and it’s already making waves.
After a run of shows in Vegas last week, fan accounts and news outlets like Variety have confirmed the official setlist that Gaga will bring to Inglewood on July 28, 29, and August 1 and 2. The show includes 29 hit songs and is expected to last a little over two hours.
But beyond the official setlist, there’s a big factor that keeps fans on their toes: the surprise encore song. Like in all her recent shows, Lady Gaga includes surprise songs at the very end of the show. So far, she’s performed tracks ARTPOP and Sexxx Dreams in Las Vegas and a Crazy Train as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne in San Francisco. For the L.A. shows at the Kia Forum, many fans are hoping to hear classics from her legendary Artpop album, which seems to be the trend…
