SoCal is about to get a new neon-lit, food-filled experience as the 626 Night Market, the largest night market in the United States, is returning in late spring, promising hundreds of food, craft, and art vendors under one roof, and tens of thousands of excited visitors.
Founded in 2012 and named after the 626 area code of the San Gabriel Valley, the market was inspired by the legendary night markets of Taipei, Bangkok, and beyond. From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a massive cultural event that draws huge crowds, sometimes attracting up to 100,000 attendees, AOL reports.
The market is a celebration of Asian street food, fusion dishes, handmade crafts, and live performances.
