‘Lightscape’ Has Transformed The L.A. Arboretum Into An Illuminated Wonderland

Wander through a glowing natural haven this holiday.

London’s acclaimed holiday display ‘Lightscape’ has turned every inch of the expansive L.A. Arboretum into a sea of glimmering lights. Visitors will enter through a a twinkling Winter Cathedral and journey down a mile-long path of multi-colored, glowing trees and a dozen large-scale installations that explore light in all shapes and forms., all accompanied by charming themed music. You’ll be immersed in a kaleidoscope of color that brings the flora to life at night in the most dazzling way.

Tickets are available online and it will be running from November 12 through January 16 with timed sessions running from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

While there are plenty of holiday lighting displays happening around the city, Lightscape is a departure from the typical showering of red, gold and green. Here, you’ll find a field of tiny glowing bulbs peeping out of the lawns, giant lillies floating on the water in front of the Queen Ann Cottage, disco mannequins, a garden with flaming metal bulbs and even a projected Walk of Fame. It’s filled with surprising delights, great sounds and a vivid sigths that are completely unforgettable.

You’ll also be able to fill up on festive fare, which includes the option of toasting S’mores around an open fire.
