Sip on tropical concoctions and feast on Hawaiian barbeque at the Lost Cove Tiki pop-up.
If you’re spotted a neon parrot riding around town, follow it. Lost Cove Tiki is the popular pop-up born out of the pandemic to bring a tropical escape to your doorstep. Thanks, in part, to their famous wings and potent concoctions delivered with festive flare, they’re back for their third installment.
You can find the pop-up inside the legendary Bludso’s Bar and Que on North La Brea Avenue on Friday, February 18. While the irresistible smell of Bludso’s world-class assortment of slowly barbequed meats alone could lure anyone through its doors, when you add in the exotic ingredients you can only expect great things.
Bold floral garnishes and the Macadamia Chi Chi (vodka, pineapple, macadamia, coconut, and macadamia nut liquor) served in coconut will whisk you away to sandy shores with swaying palms. But the wings will take your tastebuds on a trip of their own. From Japanese Lemon Pepper to the Soy Caramel, you’ll discover the eclectic mix of flavors that have kept Angelenos coming back for more.
You could feast on Huli Huli BBQ Chicken slowly smoked for 14 hours on the outdoor patio or stay for the After Dark sessions when fiery cocktails and flowery projections light up the bar.
If you missed the neon bird this time, you can follow their Instagram page and keep an eye out for the next volume in the series or have the fun delivered to you.
