The wildest fiesta of the year is back and ready to crank up the heat. Lucha VaVoom de La Liz (LVVDLL) returns on Saturday, May 30 with its outrageous spectacle, Drinko de Mayo, taking over its new home venue, the historic Fox Theater Pomona.
Expect a dizzying collision of lucha libre wrestling, award-winning burlesque, aerial artistry, live music, comedy, contortionists, and gleaming classic lowriders — all wrapped into one gloriously over-the-top night.
This year’s celebration also includes a special collaboration with La Bulla, the beloved Los Angeles festival honoring lucha libre culture, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Cumbia, chaos, & cabaret energy
Kicking off the night is a live performance from Los Angeles’ own Spaghetti Cumbia, the high-octane Western Cumbia Rock band known for blending traditional cumbia rhythms with punk, rock, and spaghetti Western soundtrack vibes.
Lucha libre heavy hitters
The wrestling card promises pure mayhem with a stacked lineup of superstar luchadores including Misterioso Jr., Mariachi Loco, Destiny, Dinámico, and the terrifying Valioso.
Joining them are El Hijo de Rey Misterio, Extreme Tiger, Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Abismo Negro, Sexy Mexis, and fan favorites Paquita VaVoom, Los Crazy Chickens, and Los Chupacabras.
And yes, the infamous Dirty Sanchez returns with his outrageous antics and signature move, “A Taste of the Awful.”
Show-stopping burlesque & aerial acts
The night’s dazzling performance lineup includes award-winning burlesque sensation Minxie Mimieux, aka The Burlesque Queen of Texas, known for her seductive vintage glam and devilish stage presence.
Also taking the stage are aerial, pole, and fire duo Kelsie Koziol and Brynn Route, plus César Vizcaino from Tijuana’s acclaimed aerial arts school Cinesis.
Making her LVVDLL debut is Devyn LaBella, a SAG-AFTRA stunt performer and Cirque du Soleil aerialist set to deliver jaw-dropping drops, fearless aerial moves, and gravity-defying elegance.
Comedy & cult-favorite chaos
Longtime comedian MC Blaine Capatch returns to provide his signature rapid-fire commentary and hilarious digs throughout the night, joined by a celebrity co-host still to be announced.
Fan-favorite ring announcer Ignacio Serricchio is also back alongside celebrated referees Joyce and Sergio “Platanito” Garcia.
