Angelenos are in for a real treat. The iconic McDonald’s Halloween pail trio McBoo, McPunk’n, and McGoblin are back from the dead.
“We heard you loud and clear… if Spooky SZN doesn’t include McDonald’s Halloween Pails, then you don’t want it,” the famous fast-food giant said in a statement. “They may have vanished for a while … but that didn’t stop you from finding clever ways to keep their spooky spirit alive — from potting plants in them to using them as (outfit of the day) accessories.”
They were first introduced in 1986 and their legacy continued for decades before the spooky tradition disappeared around 2016… but after months of internet rumors throughout this year, McDonald’s has FINALLY confirmed their ghastly return in a Tweet earlier this week.
