This pop-up museum is so whimsical, you’ll have to snap a picture (or ten) just to make sure you’re not dreaming!
Since the weather hasn’t been at its best lately, Angelenos have been forced to scout out places within the city that are just as ‘instagrammable’ as a sunny day in SoCal. Well, if you’ve found yourself in stuck in a selfie rut as of late – look no further! An immersive digital art museum called MODS landed itself inside of the Beverly Center and it truly encapsulates what dreams are made of.
The design concept for the Museum of Dream Space is said to be illuminated by the art design of Yayoi Kusuama, who is best known for the popular Infinity Rooms, as well as the developing world of digital art. Each room in the exhibit was created to portray a different “dreamlike space” – from colorful floating lanterns to a crystallized Infinity Room, MODS immerses visitors in digital art and technology.
There’s probably no need mentioning that all of the colorful backdrops score a high rating in terms of being Insta-worthy.
MODS is L.A’s first museum to exhibit digital art exclusively – don’t miss your chance to witness this one-of-a-kind experience! General admission tickets are $32, while the VIP package is priced at $60 complete with front-of-the-line privileges, a personal photographer, and a special memento to take home!
