Because the s'more bonfires this summer, the merrier!

Nothing beats a classic summer night roasting s’mores around a bonfire pit. 🔥

Truly… would it be a proper summer in California if you didn’t get to enjoy watching the sunset while simultaneously stuffing your face? Beach bonfires may be one of Los Angeles’ most iconic experiences of the season. That’s why we’ve made a list of the six places in LA you can have a bonfire along the coast. Pack your beach bags, curate a fire playlist, and don’t forget to bring wood!

1. Point Mugu State Beach, Malibu

Though bonfires are off-limits on the beach, you can reserve a campsite with a pit in the canyon across the road. Avoid having to pack up in the dark afterward and explore the 70 miles worth of trails surrounding the beach the morning after! Learn more.
